Charlotte de Witte is on a mission. After fifteen years touring across the world, she’s gearing up to release her eponymous debut album November 7, 2025. Yea, you heard me right, we’re finally getting a full-fledged Charlotte de Witte record with ALL the fixings. Has Christmas come early? Naw man, it’s May 29, and summer is just getting started. However, there’s no time like the present to appreciate what this talented young woman has engaged as her most important undertaking to date.

For this episode, I’m going to give you a little insight into Charlotte de Witte’s style and sound, her busy schedule, and her brand-new single that’s just released, “No Division”. What’s the track like, and what connotations do I draw? Charlotte’s style is frenetic and fast, high octane like Formula 1. She’s a speedster that moves and grooves while dancefloor denizens follow her lead. Grab your Red Bull, or NoS if you prefer, and buckle up, buddy! I’m Bear Swiftly, the Electro Scribe, and I’m about to give you a boost in describing how Charlotte’s sound scintillates souls with soothing velocity.

Charlotte is running full bore right now. Here’s some perspective of what the last two weeks have been like for the starling darling. She headlined EDC in Las Vegas for a large portion of the approximately 50,000 attendees, May 17. Promptly afterward, she made her way to New York for five scheduled shows at legendary venues like Public Records, Superior Ingredients, Knockdown’s The Ruins, 99 Scott, and Avant Gardner’s Great Hall, May 21-24. Plus, a pop-up street rave on top of the Williamsburg Bridge, which literally came together about an hour beforehand. Then it was off to Detroit for a Movement main stage performance where she earned the attention of some 30,000 attendees on May 25. Wow, I hope she’s gotten some sleep! She’s energized for the work she’s doing, a labor of love that reflects the shine of her spirit.

“No Division” follows “The Realm” as the second track released from her upcoming album due out November 7. Her camp was gracious enough to provide me with an advanced preview, and I found it to be a pulsing, pounding, bounding rhythm. Before I describe my own takeaway, let me share with you some of what Charlotte had to say about this track and project as a whole.

“No Division” is both a call and a celebration. It’s a reminder of what’s possible when we lose ourselves in the music and come together on the same frequency. It reminds us that we are one.

After 15 years of DJing, traveling, and living life through music, releasing my debut album feels surreal. This album is the most personal project I’ve ever worked on. It’s not just a collection of tracks; it’s a reflection of who I am, where I come from, and what continues to drive me: the dancefloor.

Across eleven tracks, this album tells the story of my journey in music so far. Every sound, every transition, is intentional. I followed what felt right, what moved me. And that honesty is what makes this album so special to me. It’s raw. It’s real. It’s emotional. It’s who I am.”

“No Division” bristles with techno vigor. It’s punctuated by punchy and prickly sounds all in support of a central message featuring XSALT. Let’s analyze a snippet of the lyrics.

‘…cut the wire / break the system / fight the fire / no division…’

To me, this signifies the idea of unity. We’re all in this together, and if it’s a fight against forces larger than us, set aside any and all differences and combine our strength to surmount what lay in wait. Though we may at times feel like we fight on our own for what we feel is right, we’ve got a whole community of people surrounding and supporting us. Combine our strength, our talents and ideas, and move forth towards a brighter future for one and all.
